Terry Finished her Championship at 15 mos. The Vallejo shows were called the Mini Nationals with close to 100 entries each day.  Terry completed her Championship under Breeder Judge Karan Kilgus at the BCNC Specialty Show. The next day received Select Bitch under Breeder Judge Jeff Ryman, and her third win at this circuit was a Supported Entry Best Opposite Sex under Breeder Judge John Lancaster.  Our daughter Karissa has done a beautiful job showing Terry in Junior Handling as well as the Breed Ring. Recipient of the 2008-2009 AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award

I am the 2008-2009 recipient of the Good Sportsmanship Award given by The Pacific Coast Bulldog Club and sponsored by the American Kennel Club.  This is a great honor to me to have received this award. This award is received by only 4 members throughout the United States in our Breed.

(as stated on the AKC website)
"This award honors those individuals who deserve special recognition that have made a difference in the sport of purebred dogs, embodied the AKC Code of Sportsmanship, and have been an active and valued member of an AKC member club."

I have been showing dogs for only a couple of years, and have learned so much in such a short time. I am happy for people when they win, even when I don't.  I give encouragement even when I need it myself. Knowing that I might help someone feel proud and love this sport as much as I do, makes it all worth while!

Allow us to introduce ourselves.  My name is Shawna Arroyo, my husband Abbie and our 4 children, Candace, Karissa, Nathan, and Harley enjoy showing Bulldogs as a hobby. We currently reside in Arizona. We were introduced to the sport of Dog shows a little over 4 years ago.  We have owned and loved bulldogs for several years.  It was a quest to obtain the right dog for us, one of breed standard, of great health and with the perfect temperment. After extensive research of backgrounds and pedigrees, we chose our first show dog in early 2007 from Eduardo Hernandez who is located in Mexico. We began showing Benito in May 2007.

One Bulldog just wasn’t enough.  We purchased our next two show Bulldogs Monarca and Billie from Trudy and Dewayne Coleman of Show-Me Bulldogs a few months later.

All three did very well at both All Breed Shows and Bulldog Club Specialties. They all have received Major Wins at Bulldog Club Specialties. Benito Finished in February 2009, Monarca in March 2009 and Billie in May of 2009.  What a year for us!

Every member in our family is involved in the sport including Junior Showmanship.  Each one of our Junior Handlers has their own Bulldog to take in the ring. Candace currently shows Benito and Cartoon, Karissa shows Kat, and Nathan shows Cartoon as well.  Harley likes to get dressed up for the shows and put on a number and pretend to show!  He is too young for Juniors.

We would like to thank everyone along the way who has given us pointers, education, and encouragement when needed. It is greatly appreciated.

We are members of the Bulldog Club of America  and members of the Pacific Coast Bulldog Club.  We are on the Breeder referal list for the Bulldog Club of America.

We do not breed often, but when we do we breed for health, temperment and our next show dog.

Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy it. As this is a work in progress, check back frequently for updates!
